Lesson One: Toothbrushing

This lesson will introduce you to the basic toothbrushing techniques used to maintain a healthy mouth. Please complete the following activities.
Activity: All toothbrushes are not the same. Think about the type of toothbrush you use on a daily basis. Take a picture of your toothbrush and post it on the Wiki page. Look at your friends' toothbrush images and look for similarites and differences between theirs and yours. Compare your toothbrush to two of your friends.
1.Complete the activity and post a photo of your toothbrush to the Wiki discussion board. Post a comment to two of your friends' toothbrush images.
2. Read aloud the PowerPoint video on Types of toothbrushes. When finished watching the video, close out of the window to return to this page.
3. Watch a video on Toothbrushing. When finished watching the video, close out of the window to return to this page.
4. Go to the Toothbrushing chart. Enter your name in the name field provided. Print and complete for one week.
Turn in a copy of the chart by e-mail to your instructors: Diane P. Kandray or Corey Bryan
5. When you are finished, go to Lesson two: Flossing.
